    Come celebrate National Pollinator Week in Carrboro and attend a free screening of "Vanishing of the Bees," directed by George Langworthy and Maryam Henein. This documentary, narrated by Ellen Page, discusses the decline of honeybees worldwide due to Colony Collapse Disorder and its impacts to agricultural crops and food supplies.

  2. Art Therapy Institute - Call for Artists!

    ATTN: Artists and Creatives! Each month, the Art Therapy Institute hosts 2nd Friday ArtWalk artists! Throughout the year, we showcase our clinical programs, individual clients and community based artists. If you are interested in showing your work, APPLY to be an artist! Please include a brief artist statement/bio, description of your work, 2-3 images representative of the work you will show, which month(s) you are interested/available in participating, and contact information. The ATI Artwalk Committee will review applicants and notify artists within 4 weeks of submission with a decision of acceptance. To review our Call for Artists Guidelines & to apply --> http://www.ncati.org/call-for-artist-guidelines Artists from marginalized backgrounds are especially encouraged. We welcome submissions from any and all artists.

    This youth disc golf clinic gives parents and children the opportunity to learn together about the sport of disc golf including rules, etiquette, the basics of throwing discs, and tips and techniques.
